Millie Texidor-Maffucci
GMCC President
As President of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, I bring over three decades of successful banking experience to this role. I believe in the power of connecting people with people—creating meaningful relationships that drive opportunity, collaboration, and growth. I am dedicated to promoting economic prosperity in the local community by providing small businesses and entrepreneurs with access to resources, networking, and business education.
Throughout my career, I have excelled in building strong partnerships within the community. I currently serve as President of MACC Charities, am on the Board of the Little Theater of Manchester, am a CEDF Board Member, support Midwest Food Bank, and serve as an Ion Bank Corporator.
As a staunch supporter and advocate for small business growth, I am committed to making the Chamber a valuable and reliable strategic resource for its members. I am honored to serve in this role and look forward to helping businesses succeed under the Chamber’s umbrella.

Having two little ones at home, who are not yet old enough to be in school, I had to make the tough decision of either working full time but missing out on important milestones with my children or work a few hours per week giving me the best of both worlds! While I had to choose family first, I am lucky enough to have been offered the flexibility to work one day a week, allowing me to continue to work with our membership I have grown to enjoy since 2005. I was barely out of High School when I began my career with the GMCC as the Administrative Assistant. As a child, I was always a bit shy, but thanks to working my way through the ranks, I was able to overcome my introverted nature through the extensive work we do with the business community. The rewards are many when you work for a Chamber of Commerce. Watching a business cut their ribbon, to celebrating their 10-year Anniversary is so gratifying, even if we only played a small part in that success.

In the Spring semester of 2023, I enrolled in Manchester Community College (now CT State Manchester) and majoring in Communications. As a student I dedicated most of my time to volunteerism, which lead to a meaningful professional introduction to Millie the GMCC’s President, while volunteering at MACC Charities’ 50th Anniversary Gala. I was given the opportunity as an intern position and welcomed to the team!
