About Our Organization.

Our Connecticut Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit association dedicated to advancing the interests of businesses in our community. Supported by membership investments, the Chamber strives to foster a robust economic environment characterized by quality jobs, capital growth, and transparent, efficient governance.

In 1901, thirty-five area businessmen established the Manchester Businessmen’s Association to deal with the general welfare and prosperity of the town. After more than 120 years of service to the area business community, the membership is larger and more diverse, but our mission remains the same.
